Majestic Lion Mandala #22 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a pointed-petal rosette surrounds a finely dotted flower heart. The next ring holds four hummingbirds facing each other beak to beak, wings spread into broad spirals, separated by almond-shaped leaves and small dotted flowers. A thin circle sets this scene apart from an outer band of alternating diamonds, miniature hummingbirds, flowers and scattered dots, and the mandala closes with a sawtooth triangle frieze between two clean circles.

The line stays fine and tight, especially in the wing spirals and the dots peppering the small flowers; this mandala coloring page mixes tiny cells with wider areas, like the diamonds around the rim. An experienced colorist will move faster than a beginner, and reaching the border from the center takes several hours across more than one sitting.

Save the finest pencil or fineliner tip for the wing spirals and the dots in the outer band, the most delicate parts here; start with the central rosette to set your palette before tackling the hummingbirds. For printing, this printable mandala looks best at A3 on paper of at least 200gsm, so the tight lines near the edge stay crisp.
