Majestic Lion Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala sits a stylized lion face: fine outlines trace the eyes, two dotted patches mark the muzzle like whisker points, and a swirl pattern spreads across the cheeks in place of a mane. An ornamental flourish rises between the brows, and a pointed diamond closes off the chin below the nose. This central medallion is ringed by a band of pointed petals, then by a wide zone where small four-petal flowers, curved leaves and scattered dots interlock. A thin circle separates that zone from a scalloped border, before the outer edge opens into a row of long pointed petals that give the whole piece the silhouette of a sun or an open flower rather than a plain circle.

The line stays fine throughout, but the density shifts a lot: the lion's face leaves fairly open spaces around the eyes and chin, while the floral band and the scalloped ring break the page into dozens of tiny cells. That contrast makes this printable mandala better suited to someone already comfortable with detailed line work, and realistically it takes two to four unhurried hours to fill in every ring.

Start on the lion's face, where the larger shapes forgive a shaky hand, before moving to the dots and small flowers of the outer band with a fine-tip marker or a sharpened pencil - the slender petals right at the rim are the trickiest to keep inside the lines. When you print this mandala coloring page, choose A4 paper of at least 200gsm so markers won't bleed through.
