Owl Mandala Coloring #24 - Free Coloring Page

An elephant's head faces forward at the centre of this printable mandala: two large ears spread wide, dark pupils marking the eyes, and a trunk that curls into a spiral reaching the bottom edge. The skull, ears and trunk are covered in swirls, teardrops and tiny dots, while the tusks carry stacked chevrons. Around the head, several concentric rings unfold: pointed petals hug the ears, a band scattered with small stars and dots follows, then a wider ring of triangular leaves, a second starred band, and finally a border of interlaced loops closed by a clean circular line.

The linework is fine and dense, especially inside the ears and the star bands where the cells are tiny; only the triangular leaves and the petal ring offer larger, easier surfaces. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colourist used to detailed designs and takes several sittings to complete.

Start with the elephant's head and its small swirls before tackling the star bands, the fussiest part to fill. Fine-tipped pens or coloured pencils handle these tiny cells better than broad markers. For printing, an A4 sheet on heavy paper, at least 200 gsm, keeps the finest lines crisp.
