Owl Mandala Coloring #27 - Free Coloring Page

An elephant's face looks straight out from the center of this mandala: large ears filled with swirls and scrolls, a trunk that curls at its tip, a tusk on either side, and a floral pattern between the eyes. Around the head run several rings in turn - tight triangular rays against the face, a clean circle, a band of spirals and small dots, a thin ring of beads, then a wide fan-shaped border of petals before the final circular outline.

The linework stays fine throughout, but the spaces to fill vary a lot: the ears and the spiral ring call for coloring many tiny areas one by one, while the trunk, tusks and the large petals of the border leave room for broader strokes. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with busy patterns, and finishing every detail can take a few hours.

Start with the largest areas - trunk, tusks, petal backgrounds - using markers, then switch to a fine pencil for the ear swirls and the dotted ring, which hold up better on small surfaces. Printed as a printable mandala, this design looks crisp on A4 paper at 200gsm, heavy enough to take marker ink without bleeding through.
