Tribal Wolf Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala is built around a front-facing lion head, its mane closing into a pointed crown of tightly curled petal shapes above the brow; the muzzle and cheeks are ruled with fine parallel lines, the almond eyes are outlined with a crisp stroke, and dots mark the base of the whiskers. A ring of tight spirals wraps the head, followed by a thin plain circle and a row of small round beads, then a wide band alternating spiral medallions with dotted flower medallions, closed by a gear-tooth scalloped edge and a double outer circle.

The linework stays fine throughout, especially inside the mane where the curls pack tightly into small cells: this mandala coloring page suits someone comfortable with fine-tip pens or colored pencils, and it takes a solid hour, sometimes two, to finish the outer rings.

Start with the muzzle and the larger locks of the mane before tackling the tighter beads and gear teeth at the rim, which strain the wrist more. This printable mandala holds its detail best on A4 paper of at least 200 gsm, heavy enough to stop markers bleeding through.
