Wild Animals Mandala #10 - Free Coloring Page

A stylised wolf head faces forward at the centre of the mandala: pointed ears, fur rendered as geometric chevrons and triangles across the brow and muzzle, stacked triangular tufts forming the ruff beneath the chin. A round medallion frames the head, ringed by Celtic-style interlacing knotwork. Further out, a wide band carries four small howling wolf heads, sunburst motifs, feathers and scattered dots, both solid and hollow, arranged in symmetry out to the double-line circle that closes the edge.

The linework stays fine throughout: the knotwork ring and the dotted band need a fine tip to keep inside the lines, while the wolf's face offers slightly larger areas to fill. This mandala coloring page suits adults or colourists already comfortable with detailed patterns, and takes roughly two to three hours to complete.

Start on the wolf's face to set the fur contrasts before tackling the knotwork, the trickiest section; a fine liner or a sharp coloured pencil keeps the small dots in the outer band from bleeding over. For this printable mandala, print at A3 on at least 200gsm paper so felt tips don't show through the fine linework.
