Wild Animals Mandala #29 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of the mandala a hummingbird flies with its wings spread among small flowers and scrollwork, flanked by paisley-like swirls on either side. A tight inner ring frames this medallion with cartouche shapes and dots. A much wider band follows, packed with roses, serrated leaves and three smaller hummingbirds repeated evenly around the circle. Beyond that, a ring of pointed petal shapes radiates outward, then a narrow band of linked loops, before the design closes on a clean double-line circle with no beads or scalloping.

The linework is fine and tightly packed, especially in the rose band where leaves and petals leave only tiny spaces to fill; the central medallion and the pointed petal border offer larger, more open areas. This mandala coloring page suits someone used to detailed work and a steady fine line; expect several hours, possibly spread over more than one sitting, to finish the whole design.

A fine liner or colored pencil keeps the roses and the smaller hummingbirds crisp, better than a broad marker; start with the central hummingbird, the most open part, before tackling the dense floral ring. For printing, A4 on heavier paper (160 gsm or more) stops ink from bleeding through and keeps this printable mandala sharp.
