Bohemian Pattern Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala builds outward from a tiny central medallion in fine, dense linework: a single round dot ringed by narrow sun-like petals inside a clean circle. Four small scrollwork flourishes mark the compass points, then a crown of broad rounded petals with feathered veining forms one large six-pointed flower that fills most of the disc. Slender pointed leaves speckled with tiny dots fill the gaps between petals, and an outer band of striped almond medallions alternates with more dotted leaf clusters before a plain circle closes the composition.

The line is fine and busy, breaking the surface into many small zones — dots, feathered hatching, striped almonds — which makes this mandala coloring page fairly demanding, better suited to colorists used to tight spaces. Expect two to four hours to fill the whole disc.

Start with the six large petals, the easiest shapes to read, before tackling the almond shapes and the dotted leaves at the edge, the finest parts of the drawing. A fine-tip pencil handles those better than a broad marker. For this printable mandala, print on thick A4 paper, at least 200 gsm, to hold up to pencils and fine markers alike.
