Dog Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

A dog's face sits at the centre of this mandala, drawn with care: round nose, alert eyes, floppy ears, framed by wide petals that fan out like an open flower. A ring of sharp triangles, like a jagged star, surrounds that medallion. A broad outer band, set off by a thin double line, then repeats bones, paw prints and small running dog and cat silhouettes, closed off by a clean double circle at the edge.

Line weight stays fine throughout, but the space to fill changes ring by ring: the petals and the dog's face give large, calm areas, while the outer band packs in tiny paw prints and bones needing a steady hand. This printable mandala suits someone already comfortable with fine-tip pens or coloured pencils, and expect an hour or two just for the small icons alone.

Start with the dog's face and the petals, which forgive a wobbly line, before tackling the paw-print band, where a fine tip keeps the outlines clean. For this mandala coloring page, print on paper around 200gsm at A4 size, sturdy enough for several marker layers without bleeding through.
