Dog Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

A ring of dog faces - pug, dark-eared husky, beagle, spotted puppy - forms the outer band of this mandala, taking up nearly a third of its width. Each muzzle sits inside a triangle traced with a spiral. Moving inward, a frieze of pointed triangles alternates with small dots, followed by a wide ring of flame-shaped petals scattered with tiny flowers, bone shapes, and curling swirls. At the center, a round medallion holds a paw print, the only other figurative motif on the page.

The linework stays fine throughout but tightens noticeably in the dog ring, where eyes, noses, and patches call for a sharp pencil. The petals and triangle band offer larger, easier surfaces suited to quicker marker work. This mandala coloring page suits an adult or a confident child comfortable with small spaces; plan on an hour and a half to cover all four rings.

Start with the dog portraits while your hand is steadiest, then move outward to the petals where small slips matter less. Fine colored pencils control the muzzles better than a broad marker would. For this printable mandala, use A4 paper at 200 gsm so the tight border lines don't bleed through.
