Artistic Abstract Mandala #4 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala takes the outline of a large flower: the outer edge isn't a clean circle but a row of points forming broad petals. At the center, a small empty circle sits inside a round flower with smooth, rounded petals dotted with tiny points. A ring of slender, flame-like petals surrounds it, then a band where paisley-style spiral arches alternate with tiny flowers, before the wide ring of pointed petals that closes the design.

The linework is fine and dense in that middle band of paisley spirals, opening into broader spaces at the center and across the large outer petals. This mandala coloring page suits someone with a steady hand for the intricate middle section, while the wide outer petals stay approachable for beginners; expect a good hour for the fine details and longer to finish the whole piece.

Start with the central flower and its first ring of petals before tackling the spiral band, the most delicate part of the drawing; a fine-tip colored pencil works best for the small flowers and scrolls, while a broader marker handles the large outer petals easily. Print this printable mandala at A4 on paper of at least 160 gsm so felt-tip pens don't bleed through.
