Eight-petaled lotus at the center, five bands, lace-like outer fringe.

At the center, an eight-petaled lotus flower opens inside a small circle, ringed by a thin band of spirals and dots. Five concentric bands surround it: leafy scrolls and small round rosettes set at the four cardinal points, a tight row of small pointed leaves, a band of flowering vines, and finally a wide fringe of elongated fan-shaped petals alternating with lace-like rosettes. A clean double circle closes the design.

This printable mandala pairs large open areas near the center with a swarm of fine detail toward the edge: the outer fringe is delicate and calls for a fine tip and patience, while the central lotus and scrolls fill in faster with broader shapes. The black outline stays crisp throughout but tightens considerably across the last two rings. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colorist; expect one to two hours, more if the lace border is done carefully.

Start with the central lotus and the large scrolls before tackling the small pointed leaves and rosettes at the rim, the thinnest parts of the drawing. A fine-tip marker (0.3 mm) or colored pencil keeps ink from bleeding into these tight details. For printing, use A3 paper at least 200 gsm so the outer rings stay legible.
