A layered flower with pointed, overlapping petals fills the center of this mandala, all petals meeting at a single point. Around it run a ring of small rounded petals and then a wider star of triangular, pointed petals. Two further crowns split into rectangular compartments follow, alternating stylized elephants, dotted paisleys, small leaves and spirals, before a thick black ring closes the design with a continuous band rather than beads or a scalloped edge.

Linework stays fine and dense throughout: the outer compartments pack in tiny dots and spirals suited to sharp colored pencils or fine-tip markers, while the central petals offer larger, easier areas to fill.
