At the center a stylized tree splits from a single trunk into two mirrored, spiraling branches, carrying flowering vines, small pointed leaves, clusters of berries, and, right at the top, two small birds facing each other among the twigs. A first ring surrounds this scene: four large spiral medallions alternate with small diamond shapes inside a dense lattice of stems. A wide outer band of continuous Celtic-style knotwork closes the composition, with small animal silhouettes tucked between the loops, all framed by a clean, thin double circle.

The line stays fine and even throughout, but density builds outward: the leaves and the tree's body leave fairly open spaces for a relaxed mandala coloring page, while the knotwork ring packs in many tight little cells. This one suits colorists who already have some practice rather than a first attempt, and takes several hours across two or three sittings to work from trunk to edge.

To keep the knotwork from drowning in ink, a fine liner or a sharpened pencil works better than a broad tip; start with the central tree before moving out to the border, where the animal loops and tight knots need the steadiest hand. For this printable mandala, go with A3 and heavyweight paper, at least 200gsm, so the fine lines stay crisp and ink doesn't bleed through.
