Winter Mandala #11 - Free Coloring Page

A large six-branched ice crystal fills the middle, its sharp points radiating in broken lines. A ring of pinecones, solid circles and faceted crystals surrounds it, closed off by a thin double circle. A wider band alternates large chevron spikes, single snowflakes and triangles filled with fine fir-branch texture. The outer ring, denser still, pairs snowflake medallions with tightly stippled triangles suggesting frost, all held inside two clean, unadorned circles.

Fine lines run through the whole mandala, tightening further in the stippled triangles of the outer band, which need the sharpest point of all. Shapes open up toward the centre, around the crystal and the pinecones. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with dense patterns, and takes several hours across more than one sitting.

Start with the central crystal and the pinecones using a fine marker, then keep a well-sharpened pencil for the frosted triangles at the edge — the most delicate part of the whole piece. This printable mandala works well at A3, on paper of at least 200 gsm so repeated color layers don't show through the back.
