Winter Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre of this mandala, a six-branch snowflake with fern-like chevrons fills a disc crossed by two diagonals. A ring of six dotted circles and ornamental crosses surrounds it, followed by scalloped arches and a wide band that repeats, six times, jagged holly leaves, clusters of three berries and small curling scrolls. Large rounded scallops close the design, backed by an outer ring of round beads.

The line stays fine from centre to edge, but density rises sharply: the snowflake and the circle ring leave large plain spaces, while the holly-and-berry band packs in tiny shapes. That contrast suits a progressive coloring page, good for a teen or adult who enjoys switching between calm flat areas and fiddly detail, worth an hour and a half to two hours.

Start with the snowflake and the ring of circles before tackling the holly band, where the berries and scrolls need a fine tip, a 0.3-0.4 fineliner or a well-sharpened pencil, so the line doesn't get lost. This printable mandala coloring page holds up best on heavy paper, at least 200gsm, A4 size, sturdy enough for repeated shading around the beaded rim.
