Indian Mandala #3 - Free Coloring Page

A central lotus flower ringed by symbol panels and spiral scrollwork.
At the center, a large stylized lotus flower spreads pointed petals layered several deep, each one etched with fine curls and tiny dots. A ring of slender petals surrounds it, followed by a second, wider ring of petals forming a double halo. Beyond that runs a broad band alternating pointed almond shapes, each holding a small emblem, with panels of curled leaf scrollwork. A thin frieze of connected spirals runs just inside the edge, which closes with two clean concentric circles.
The linework stays fine throughout but tightens in the emblem band, where the zones are small and numerous, while the two petal rings offer broader, more relaxing areas to fill. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colorist, teen or adult, comfortable with fine-tip pens; plan on two to three hours to complete the whole design without rushing the details.
To keep the small emblems and scrollwork crisp, use a sharpened colored pencil or a fine-tip marker, saving broad markers for the central petals. Start with the central flower before tackling the patterned band, the most demanding part. For this printable mandala, print at A4 on paper at least 200gsm so ink won't bleed through and lines stay sharp.
