Indian Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre of this mandala, a small radiating star sits inside a circle, ringed by rounded petals that form a flower. A beaded circle separates it from a row of tightly packed pointed petals, then scalloped arches each holding a tiny bud. Next comes a crown of hatched triangular leaves, tip up and tip down in turn, followed by a ring of larger, layered petals. A double beaded line runs just inside the edge, where large flame-shaped points alternate with small beaded arcs, so the border reads as an eight-pointed flower rather than a plain circle.

This printable mandala relies on fine, closely spaced lines: sections shrink ring by ring, from the wide outer petals down to the tiny buds and beads near the arches, which need a fine tip. The number of compartments and the hatched crown suit an experienced colourist; plan on several hours across two or three sittings.

Fine-tip pencils or markers work better than broad ones, especially for the beaded rows and the hatched crown; start with the central star and the large outer petals before the small arches. For a clean result, this mandala coloring page prints best on 200 gsm paper in A4.
