Woven rosette core, twelve flame petals, and a scalloped flower-shaped border.
At the center of this design, a small empty circle is ringed by a woven rosette where triangular facets and petal tips interlock in a dense, basket-like pattern. A thin circle separates it from a second ring of twelve large, empty, pointed petals shaped like flames. A thick double circle frames the whole design, followed by a band of small paired arches forming a regular scallop. The outer edge is neither a plain circle nor a row of beads: it closes in wide, rounded petals that give the whole piece the silhouette of a flower, with small points peeking out between their bases.
The line stays fine and even throughout, but its density shifts a lot from one zone to the next: the woven core packs in many small cells, while the twelve large petals leave wide, open spaces that are easy to fill. That contrast suits a child who starts with the big petals just as well as a more practiced colorist drawn to the rosette and the scalloped band. Plan on thirty to forty-five minutes to finish this mandala coloring page without rushing.
Start with the large petals before tackling the woven rosette, whose small points are the trickiest spots to keep inside the lines: a fine-tip marker or a well-sharpened pencil works better than a broad marker. The scalloped arches, mid-sized between the petals and the tiny facets, take colored pencil shading nicely. Choose A4 and a heavy paper of at least 200gsm for this printable mandala, so felt-tip pens won't bleed through.
