Sun Rays Kids Mandala #39 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala, a small blank circle opens onto a wheel of sixteen thin wedges, each crossed by a wavy line running between several concentric circles, like braided rays. A double ring closes this centerpiece and introduces eight smiling suns with pointed rays, spaced evenly around it. Between them, a band of small square cells alternates hearts, clouds, stars, leaves, a flower and ribboned gift boxes. The outer edge closes with two clean, fine circles.

The line stays fine inside the central wheel and along the suns' pointed rays, while the faces, the cells and the middle disc offer wide, easy areas to fill. This mix suits a child working on a printable mandala who still wants a few detailed spots to slow down on. Plan on roughly an hour to finish the whole page.

Fine markers or well-sharpened pencils handle the pointed rays and the tiny icons in the cells, leaving broad markers for the suns and the central disc. Start with the middle wheel, then the suns, then the outer band. For this mandala coloring page, print on A4 paper at 200 gsm so ink from felt pens does not bleed through.
