Sun Rays Kids Mandala #41 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of the mandala, a round sun face smiles with two round eyes, a small nose and two rosy cheeks marked by circles. Long pointed petals radiate around it, filled with tiny circles and dots, with four stars tucked between them. A thin double circle closes this central flower. An outer crown alternates almond-shaped points with striped rays, reaching a thick, clean black circle that borders the whole design.

The bold outer line colors in fast, but the petals hide small concentric circles and tiny stars that call for a fine-tipped marker. The wide almond shapes and striped rays fill quickly, while the inner patterns slow the hand down. This mandala coloring page suits a child comfortable with guided coloring, with a little help on the smallest details, in about thirty to forty-five minutes.

Start with the face and the large petals before tackling the striped bands and dots, which are fiddlier to isolate; a fine marker or a sharpened pencil handles these areas better than a broad tip. For a clean print, this printable mandala works well on A4 or US Letter paper, at 160 to 200 gsm, sturdy enough to hold marker ink without bleeding through.
