Sun Rays Kids Mandala #38 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a smiling sun — round cheeks, closed arched eyes, a small grin — sits inside a small circle ringed by pointed rays that reach a first circle. Around it winds a wavy ribbon dotted with five-pointed stars, then a band of small hearts lined up side by side. A double circular line closes the design, and large rounded petals spread all around, giving the mandala the outline of a flower.

The linework stays fine and even across the rays, stars and hearts, calling for a steady hand, while the big outer petals offer wide, easy areas to fill. This printable mandala suits a child of about six just as well as an adult wanting a short break, with a session of roughly fifteen to twenty-five minutes.

A fine liner or a sharpened pencil handles the tiny stars and hearts more precisely than a thick marker, while broad markers work well on the outer petals. Starting with the sun's face builds confidence before tackling the fiddlier starred ribbon. For this mandala coloring page, print on heavy 200 gsm paper at A4 size so the ink doesn't bleed through.
