Eight-petaled flower, fine radiating rays and a ring of twelve petals.

At the center of this mandala, a small solid black dot marks the middle of the design. It sits inside an eight-petaled flower with clean pointed outlines, surrounded by a ring of fine radiating lines packed tightly together like sun rays. A thin circle closes off this inner disc before a wide band of twelve large petals, each outlined with a smaller petal inside, spreads out to the edge. Two thin, closely spaced circles form the outer border, with no beading or cut edges.

This mandala coloring page mixes very different surfaces: the large outer petals give wide, easy areas to fill, while the ring of fine rays calls for a steadier hand and a sharpened tool. Younger colorists can stay with the central flower and the petals, leaving the rays to someone more confident with fine lines. Expect around 30 to 40 minutes for the whole page.

For this printable mandala, start with the central flower and the outer petals, saving the ring of rays for last — a fine liner pen will trace those thin lines more cleanly than a thick crayon. Print on A4 or letter paper of at least 160gsm so ink and marker don't bleed through.
