Eight-point star at the center, framed by petals and large circles
At the center of this mandala sits an eight-pointed star inside a small circle. Around it, a ring repeats the same motif eight times: a heart-shaped tip flanked by two slender pointed petals aimed toward the middle, forming a flower-like rosette. A clean circle separates this inner zone from a wide outer band of large circles that overlap in two staggered rows, like bubbles or rounded petals, closing with the plain circular outline at the edge.
The lines are even and fairly thick, with no unnecessary fine detail, which makes this printable mandala mostly open space to fill. The central rosette needs a touch more care because of the small points on the hearts and petals, but the big outer circles fill in with just a few strokes. This layout suits young children starting out with a mandala coloring page, and the whole sheet can be finished in twenty to thirty minutes.
Markers or crayons work well on the large outer circles; save fine-tip pens for the star's points and the small petal tips, the only spots where the tight linework calls for precision. Printed on A4 or letter paper at 120 gsm, the sheet stays thick enough to hold marker ink without bleeding through.
