Sun Rays Kids Mandala #31 - Free Coloring Page

The centre of this printable mandala shows a smiling sun: a round face with closed, arched eyes and a smile, set inside a plain circle. Twelve thin, triangular rays spread out from that circle to a ring that contains them. A first crown of large rounded petals overlaps in scallops, followed by a second, wider crown of petals that extends the flower outward. A thin double line separates this flower from an outer band where small clusters of three pointed leaves alternate with triangular, pointed petals. The border closes with a clean double circle, no beads, no cut edge.

This mandala coloring page mixes fine linework on the central rays with larger surfaces on the petals and outer band, making it approachable for children and beginners alike; expect around 30 to 45 minutes to fill every ring.

Start with the face and the rays, the most delicate parts, before moving to the broader petals; a fine-tip marker suits the centre, a medium tip works well for the rest. For printing, 200 gsm A4 paper will keep ink from bleeding through.
