Further out, a ring alternates curled, drop-shaped scrolls with small round dots. The widest band, at the outer edge, adds pointed arches and tiny spirals before a clean rim of two fine concentric circles, with no beads and no scalloped cut. Eightfold symmetry links the center to the rim.

The line stays thin and even throughout, but the cells to fill are small, especially in the outer band, where spirals and dots leave little room for a pencil tip.
