Eight-petal lotus center wrapped in scrolls and large pointed petals.

At the center, an eight-petal lotus flower opens in two overlapping layers, pointed leaves narrowing toward a single dot. A thin circle wraps around it, followed by a ring of small dotted circles spaced evenly, like an engraved string of beads. Next comes a wide band of comma-shaped scrolls alternating with small heart-shaped leaves and more dotted circles, in a style close to mehndi ornament. Another fine line closes this zone before the outer belt: a ring of large pointed petals, flame-like lotus shapes, running almost all the way around. The whole piece ends in a border made of two clean concentric circles, with no beading or scalloping.

The line stays thin and even from center to edge, but the density of detail changes a lot: the ring of small circles and the scroll band pack in many tiny shapes, while the outer petals offer far larger, open surfaces. That contrast makes this mandala coloring page slower near the middle — plan on a good hour just for the circles and scrolls — then quicker toward the rim. It suits hands used to fine work, though anyone patient enough can manage it; figure two to three hours total.

Start at the center and the ring of small circles with a fine-tip pen or a well-sharpened pencil, then move to the scrolls, and save broader markers or colored pencils for the large outer petals. This printable mandala works well at A4 or letter size on paper of at least 200gsm, which keeps marker ink from bleeding through.
