A central lotus rosette ringed by petal bands and open lotus blooms.

At the center of this lotus mandala sits a small rosette: a tiny disc surrounded by short rounded petals. Around it, a twelve-point star of large pointed petals with doubled outlines forms the main body of the design; some petals hold a pair of small dots, others a hatched teardrop filled with fine parallel lines. Next comes a dense, busy band packed with scrolls, fleur-de-lis shapes, checkered patches and tiny dots, leaving almost no blank space. The outer edge unfolds into eight large open lotus flowers alternating with closed buds and striped petals, all closed off by a clean double circle.

The line stays fine throughout, but its density shifts a lot from one zone to another: the large central petals give wide, restful areas, while the middle band crowds in small spaces that need filling one by one. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with repetitive patterns and steady enough to keep a clean line on tiny surfaces. Expect several hours across more than one sitting to cover the whole sheet without rushing the busiest middle ring.

A fine-tip marker or a well-sharpened colored pencil works better than a broad marker for staying inside the scrolls and checkered patches of the middle band, the most delicate part of the drawing. Starting with the eight outer lotus flowers before moving toward the center makes early mistakes less visible. For this printable mandala, print it on A4 paper at least 200 gsm so ink doesn't bleed through the hatched sections.
