Lotus Mandala #4 - Free Coloring Page
Print or download this mandala for free
A central lotus bud circled by petals and lace-filled medallions.
At the center, a small square holds a drop-shaped bud, ringed by a circle edged with tiny teeth. A first crown of pointed, veined petals opens around it, followed by a wider ring of rounded petals, some paired and overlapping, that build the heart of the flower. The mandala closes with eight almond-shaped medallions set around the rim, each packed with swirls, small spirals and dots like lace. The outer edge is neither a clean circle nor a beaded ring: it's the petals themselves, with their scalloped edges, that trace the flower's uneven silhouette.
The line stays fine throughout, though density shifts: the center and the outer medallions pack in tiny surfaces, while the middle ring of broad petals leaves large open areas, easy for a first attempt. This mandala coloring page suits beginners working on the big petals just as well as experienced colorists drawn to the lace in the medallions; expect several hours to finish it properly.
Start with the large petals in marker or colored pencil, then switch to a fine liner for the swirls inside the medallions, the most delicate part of the design. For this printable mandala, print on heavy paper (around 200-250 gsm) at A4 or letter size, so the finest lines hold up once color is added.
