Moon Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a round medallion pairs a large crescent moon with a full moon disc, both covered in craters of different sizes and tiny stars, ringed by a thin double line. Around it, four large cloud-shaped forms each hold a spiral, separated by pointed petals and small flowers, framed by a scalloped cloud-like border. A slim double circle then sets off a band of twelve small sun discs with radiating rays, alternating with stars and drop shapes, before the plain double-circle outer edge.

The linework stays fine throughout, but the sun rays and moon craters are the smallest and most numerous elements, while the spiral clouds and central petals give wider, easier spaces to fill. This printable mandala suits someone who has already tried a mandala coloring page and has some patience, with two to three hours needed to work from the center out to the sun ring.

Start with the central moon disc using a fine pencil or a 0.3 mm marker to keep the small craters clean, and save the sun rays for last since they are the most delicate part of the design. For printing, use heavier 200-250 gsm A4 paper so marker ink won't bleed through the fine lines.
