Moon Mandala #18 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala coloring page centers on a large crescent moon, its curve crossed by soft wave lines and set beside a small full moon and scattered stars, with a pointed lotus flower opening just below. A ring of wavy lines surrounds the scene, then a band of alternating crescents and stars retraces the moon's phases, followed by a ring of solid circles in two sizes and an outer border repeating four star bursts and four ribboned flower sprays.

The line stays fine and even throughout, but the shapes vary widely: broad petals and large circles fill in quickly, while the stars, ripples and corner flower stems ask for a steady hand. This printable mandala suits someone already comfortable with detailed line art, and rewards about ninety minutes to two hours of steady work.

Start with the circle ring and the lotus to lay down bold color fast, then save fine markers or a sharp pencil for the star bursts and the tiny stars scattered near the crescent, the most delicate parts of the design. This mandala prints best at A4 on 200 gsm paper, sturdy enough to hold up under marker ink without bleeding through.
