Moon Mandala #17 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a sleeping moon face in profile, eyes closed, its cheek covered in curling spirals. A ring of small dots surrounds it, then a band of tiny stars and dots, a scalloped ring like battlements, then alternating crescents and stars. A wide band of scrollwork and clouds carries four crescents at the cardinal points. A ring of overlapping circles sits before the border: a wide ring of larger circles, closed off by two thin lines.

The line stays fine throughout, but density shifts: stars, dots and overlapping circles need a very fine tip, while the scrollwork band and the large border circles fill in quickly. This mandala coloring page suits colorists who enjoy switching between tiny motifs and broad flat areas; allow a good hour for the busiest rings.

A fine pencil or a 0.3 marker works best for the overlapping circles and tiny stars; keep a broader marker for the large circles at the edge. Start with the central face, the only area roomy enough to lay down color without hesitation. For printing, this printable mandala holds up best on 200 gsm paper at A4 size.
