Moon Mandala #14 - Free Coloring Page

A crescent moon sits at the heart of this mandala, ringed by a halo of tiny stars and then by a band of spirals and dots. Beyond that lies a field where four clusters of pointed leaves alternate with sunburst rosettes and scattered stars. The whole design is held inside a wide crown of sixteen round medallions, crescent moons and fan-shaped flowers alternating one after another, all framed by a clean, fine double outline.

The linework is fine and tightly packed, especially in the star halo and the sixteen outer medallions, leaving little room for broad flat areas. The leaf clusters and rosettes offer larger, easier surfaces to fill. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colorist; plan on two to three hours to complete it fully.

Start with the central disc and its star halo using a fine-tipped pencil, then move on to the sixteen edge medallions, the most delicate part of the drawing. The larger leaf clusters work well with markers, giving your eyes a break between detailed sections. For this printable mandala, print on A4 paper of at least 160 gsm so pencil and marker ink won't bleed through.
