Moon Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a crescent moon with a sleepy profile rests against a full-moon disc dotted with small round craters, surrounded by stars, tiny clouds and two lotus flowers. A thin ring of crescents and stars borders this medallion, followed by a garland of two-sized circles, a band of small swirling cloud shapes, another row of identical circles, and an outer band alternating eight radiating suns with eight star clusters.

The line stays fine and even from center to edge, with no hatching. The large circles and the moon disc give wide, quick-to-fill areas, even with markers, while the sun rays, tiny stars and spirals of the outer band need a fine point. Start with the moon face and cratered disc, the easiest shapes to place, before tackling the suns and star clusters around the rim, the most delicate part of the design. A fine-tip colored pencil keeps the sun rays crisp. For this printable mandala, print at A4 and use paper of at least 200 gsm so marker ink won't bleed through.
