Summer Mandala #15 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre, an empty circle sits inside a twisted sunburst of wavy lines, ringed by a band of tight little spirals. A thin circle marks off the next zone, where dotted bud shapes alternate with tiny four-petal flowers linked by curling tendrils. Further out, almond-shaped petals cluster in threes to form radiating fans, framed by a band of wavy scallops. The outer ring alternates ribbed fan motifs with small clusters of fine blossoms, and two thin concentric lines close the circle at the edge.

This mandala coloring page pairs a fine outline with a high density of small spaces, especially across the outer two-thirds where the flowers and petals are tiny. The wide wavy rays at the centre fill in quickly, but the spiral and bud rings ask for more patience. It suits an experienced colourist comfortable working within small areas, and reaching the outer edge takes roughly two to three hours.

Start with the broad central rays using markers, then switch to fine-tipped pencils for the bud shapes and blossom clusters near the rim, the most delicate parts of the design. For this printable mandala, print at A4 on paper of at least 160gsm so it holds up to layered colour without bleeding through.
