Summer Mandala #19 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a small spiral coils inside a sun disc ringed with pointed rays. A band of cloud-like scrolls circles around it, followed by a collar of small rounded petals marked with hearts. A ring of larger pointed petals, grouped in fours, opens outward from there. The border closes with a wide band where tiny suns, winged figures and clusters of dots alternate, all held within a clean outer circle.

The line stays fine from the center through the heart-petal collar, then tightens sharply in the outer band, where the miniature suns and dot clusters leave little room for imprecision. The large petals give broad, restful areas that suit felt-tips well, while the border calls for a fine tip. This mandala coloring page suits adults or children already comfortable with detailed work, and takes several hours spread across multiple sessions.

Start with the central sun disc and scrolls, the simplest part, before tackling the outer band, the most demanding section of the drawing. A fine fineliner works better than a broad marker for keeping the tiny suns crisp. For this printable mandala, print at A4 size on paper of at least 160 gsm.
