Central flower, eight seated figures, and a flame-point border.

At the center of this Tibetan mandala sits a small four-pointed flower shaped like a cross, wrapped around a tiny round face, all held inside a first circle. Around it come a halo of slender petals, a band of tiny diamonds, then a ring of broader petals closed off by a scalloped circle. Further out runs a band of cloud-shaped scrolls, eight roundels each holding a seated figure (one, at the bottom, differs from the other seven), a wide frieze of interlacing scrollwork, and a tight crown of flame-like points, all closed by a plain circular line.

This mandala coloring page pairs a fine line with very high density: the scrollwork frieze and the flame crown break into dozens of small cells, and the roundels demand precision around each seated face. The center and the wider petals, by contrast, give larger, calmer areas to fill. The design suits an older teen or adult already comfortable with detailed coloring, and realistically takes several hours across more than one sitting.

Start at the center and the roundels while your eye is still fresh, and save the flame crown for last, since its points are the tightest spaces on the sheet. A fine liner or a 0.3-0.5 mm colored pencil holds up better than a broad marker in the packed petals and small diamonds of the middle bands. Printed as a printable mandala, this sheet looks best at A3 on paper of at least 200 gsm, heavy enough to take repeated pencil layers in the finest areas without the line bleeding through.
