Tibetan Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre, an eight-petalled flower unfolds in two layers, like a lotus seen from above, resting on an eight-pointed star. A circle surrounds it, then a band where small diamond lattice cells alternate with shield motifs holding interlaced knots. A second circle opens a wider band: large knotted-cross shields alternate with finely stippled leafy scrollwork curling into spirals. A third circle precedes the outer ring, a row of small frames each holding a different symbol - a vase, a pennant, a shell, a spiral - repeated around. The outline closes on a clean double circular line, with no beading and no scalloped edge.

This printable mandala keeps an even, fine line from the centre outward, but the open areas shrink sharply in the last two bands. As a mandala coloring page it suits someone used to fine detail who can hold a steady tip inside small cells; expect several hours to cover it all.

Start with the central flower and star, the widest shapes, before the knotted shields and finally the tiny outer symbols, the most demanding part. A 0.3-0.5 mm fine liner keeps the outer frames legible. Print it on A3 paper at 200 gsm to give the small motifs room, or A4 if working in pencil.
