Tibetan Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

A four-gated Tibetan palace around a lotus, five rings to the edge.
At the center of this mandala, a blank circle opens into a lotus rosette with two rows of pointed petals, set inside a square palace with four gates framed by a Greek key border. Several rings follow around the palace: four-petaled flowers alternating with small crosses, miniature roundels, scrolling clouds alternating with endless-knot medallions, then spiraling vine scrolls dotted with small points, closing on a double circle line marked with black dots.
The line stays fine from center to edge, and the sheer number of small shapes - medallions, scrolls, key-pattern borders - makes this mandala coloring page slower to finish than it looks. It suits someone already comfortable with detail, teen or adult, rather than a first-time colorist, and takes about two to four hours to work through the rings to the border.
Start with the lotus and the palace, where the shapes are largest, before moving to the cloud ring and vine scrolls, which are noticeably finer and better suited to fine-tipped pencils than markers that can bleed into the key pattern. This printable mandala prints well at A4, on heavy paper around 200gsm.
