Wolf Mandala #16 - Free Coloring Page

A wide band of zigzag triangles forms the outer rim of this mandala; moving inward, the eye crosses a tall crown of triangular peaks mixed with pine trees and paired dots, then a row of small spirals, then a ring where crescent moons, full circles and pine sprigs alternate. At the center sits a wolf's head in profile, muzzle raised in a howl, its throat fur rendered as swirling, flame-like scrollwork, framed by a thin beaded circle.

The linework stays fine throughout, and the sheer number of small shapes — spirals, beads, zigzag triangles — makes this printable mandala a demanding one, better suited to colorists already comfortable with fine markers or pencils than to a first attempt. Finishing the whole disc, from wolf to rim, takes more than one sitting.

Start with the wolf's head, the largest and clearest shape, before tackling the spirals and the zigzag border, where a fine 0.3–0.4 mm marker keeps color inside such tight triangles better than a thick pencil. For this mandala coloring page, print at A4 on paper of at least 160 gsm so ink doesn't bleed through the fine lines.
