Owl Mandala #4 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala, a front-facing owl: two large round eyes built from concentric circles surround solid black pupils, beneath pointed brow tufts meeting above a small triangular beak. Its chest carries feathers in diamonds and chevrons. A scalloped oval band wraps around the owl, then a wide ring of leaves, teardrops, small round dots, stars and swirling dot-patterns, closed by a clean double-line circle.

The linework is fine and dense in the outer leaf band and across the feathered chest, packed with small spaces to fill; the eyes, by contrast, give large simple areas to color first. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with detailed pages, teen or adult, and takes several hours spread over two or three sittings.

A fine-tip pencil or marker keeps the small leaves and corner stars clean, the most delicate part of the drawing. Start with the eyes and chest feathers before the outer ring. For this printable mandala, print at A4 on paper of at least 200gsm so markers won't bleed through.
