Wolf Mandala #3 - Free Coloring Page

A wolf's face fills the center of this mandala, its fur reshaped into scrollwork and spirals that form the ears, cheeks and muzzle. A ring of sharp triangles surrounds it, making a sixteen-point star scattered with small stars and crescent moons. Next comes a wide band where pines, clover and running wolves repeat all around the circle, closed off by a woven-looking ring of hatching and small studded circles, then a clean double line at the edge.

Line weight stays fine throughout, but density shifts sharply from ring to ring: the swirls on the face are tight, while the trees and wolves leave real open space to fill. That contrast suits an experienced colorist, able to switch from fine pens on the portrait to broader color on the forest band. This mandala coloring page calls for several sittings.

Start with the eyes and muzzle, the densest part, before the star band and then the calmer forest scene. Fine pencils work better than paint, which would blur the scrollwork. For this printable mandala, print at A3 on paper of at least 200gsm so the tightest lines stay crisp.
