Wolf Mandala #4 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala centers on a small square core built from mirrored, faceted triangles, closed by a tight circle. Radiating outward, a ring of rounded teardrops topped with dots gives way to a crown of tall triangular points, then a band of leaf-like shapes and zigzag triangles. The outer ring carries a frieze of birds with spread wings alternating with low-tailed, wolf-like running animals, small circles and tiny crosses, framed by a strip of tight spirals and closed by a clean double outer circle.

Line weight stays fine throughout, but cell size shifts: the square core and teardrops give small areas that need patience, while the animal frieze and the tall points open into roomier fields. This printable mandala suits someone already comfortable with fine-tip pencils, and the full design takes around two to three hours to complete.

Start with the outer frieze of animals and spirals, the finest part of the drawing, before moving to the teardrops and square core where felt-tip pens have room to work. Fine colored pencils handle the small zigzag triangles near the rim better than markers. For this mandala coloring page, print at A4 on paper of at least 160 gsm so the ink doesn't bleed through.
