Wolf Mandala #5 - Free Coloring Page

A wolf with its head raised howls at the center of this mandala, its entire coat built from spirals and scrolls that curl into one another. A thin ring of beads circles the medallion, followed by a band of small triangles pointing inward. Beyond that opens a wide strip filled with pine trees, faceted crystal shapes and clusters of dots, repeated a second time further out past another beaded ring. The outer edge isn't a plain circle: it closes with a row of large triangular points, crystal-like, that give the whole design a jagged, crown-like silhouette.

The line stays fine across the wolf's coat and inside the small tree-and-crystal scenes, which packs the design with small areas to fill carefully. The large points along the border, by contrast, offer much bigger, quicker spaces to cover. This mandala coloring page suits a hand already used to detail work and a fine-tipped marker that won't wander outside the line; expect two to four hours to work from the center out to the last point.

Start on the big border points to build confidence before tackling the wolf's spirals and the tiny pine trees in the mid bands, the finest parts of the drawing, where a sharpened pencil or a 0.3mm liner keeps the line crisp. For this printable mandala, print on paper of at least 200gsm, A4 or US letter, heavy enough that markers or pencils won't bleed through.
