Wolf Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

The outer edge of this mandala is not a smooth circle or a string of beads: it's a tight ring of triangular points, like rays or teeth. Moving inward, a wide band is divided into compartments repeating paw prints, crescent moons, droplets, bells and spirals, then a ring of pine trees and small mountain-like triangles. At the core, a howling wolf head has fur rendered as large swirls curling back on themselves like flames, framed by a triangular starburst medallion.

Line weight stays fine throughout, especially in the wolf's swirling fur and the tiny icons in the compartmented band, calling for a sharpened pencil or fine marker. Spaces are small and numerous, so this printable mandala suits patient, detailed work more than quick broad strokes. Expect two to three hours for this mandala coloring page, from muzzle to outermost point.

Start at the wolf head to set the palette before the compartmented ring, where a distinct color per symbol marks the rhythm of the full circle. The tightly packed triangular points at the rim are the fussiest part — keep a fine-tip marker there. For a crisp result, print on heavy paper of at least 200 gsm, A4 or letter size, or A3 for finer compartments.
