Wolf Mandala #9 - Free Coloring Page

A howling wolf fills the center of this mandala, muzzle lifted toward a thin crescent moon, its fur rendered in broad swirls and spirals that shape the jaw, ears and neck. A fine circle sets it apart from the rest of the design: triangular pine trees and small moon-like discs form the first ring, followed by geometric chevrons in a Native American style, then a band of miniature wolves and diamonds, and finally a thin border of triangles closing a round outer edge.

The linework stays fine and even throughout, but its density rises sharply in the two outer rings, where the tiny wolf silhouettes and chevrons pack in close. The head and the large fur spirals offer generous open areas. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with detail work, and finishing it fully takes about two to three hours.

A fine liner or a sharply sharpened pencil is needed from the pine-tree ring outward, while the wolf's face and its large spirals take broader markers well. Start with the head, then work outward ring by ring. For this printable mandala, print at A3 on heavy paper (200 gsm or more) — enlarging it keeps the outer bands legible.
