Sun Mandala #14 - Free Coloring Page

At the center sits an empty circle from which narrow, pointed rays radiate outward, like a stylized sun. A ring of rounded petals surrounds it, followed by a denser band mixing small five-point stars, clusters of tiny dots and short spirals. Next comes a ring of paired-circle crown motifs alternating with pointed drop shapes. The widest, outermost band combines flame-like or elongated leaf forms, more stars and small circles arranged in pairs, all closed off by a clean double-line circle.

The line stays fine from center to edge, but density rises sharply in the band of stars and dots, which needs a fine tool to stay clean. The central petals and outer flames offer larger, easier surfaces to fill. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with repetitive patterns and ready to spend several hours on it.

Start with the central rays and petals before tackling the star-and-dot band, the most delicate part; a fine pencil or fineliner works better there than a broad marker. For printing, this printable mandala holds up best on A4 or letter-size heavy paper, around 200 gsm, so ink won't bleed through.
