Sun Mandala #17 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this printable mandala sits a smiling sun face, ringed by short flame-like points, then by a wide crown of triangular rays alternating with slender crescent moons. The widest band pairs large teardrop-shaped petals, lined with concentric arcs, with coiled spirals and scattered five-point stars, before a scalloped border and a clean double circle close the design.

The line stays fine throughout, though density shifts from ring to ring: the large sun rays and petals give wide, easy-to-fill surfaces, while the spirals and tiny stars need a steady hand. This mandala coloring page suits confident colorists or patient teens, and takes roughly two to three hours to complete across all the rings.

Start with the central face and the large rays before tackling the spirals and striped petals, the most delicate parts of the drawing, using a fine liner or sharp colored pencil for control. For printing, heavyweight 200gsm A3 paper keeps ink from bleeding through the densest sections.
