Sun Mandala #15 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre of this mandala coloring page, a small blank circle sits inside a sixteen-point triangular sun burst. Three crowns radiate outward: scalloped fan shells paired with small coiled spirals, then larger twin spirals dotted with tiny flowers, then a ring of sun faces with pointed rays - some with crescent-shaped closed eyes - alternating with spiral roundels and small flowers. A plain double-line circle closes the outer edge.

Line weight stays thin and even from centre to rim, though the spaces shrink outward: the sun's rays are broad and easy to fill, while the outer faces and spirals are tiny and need a fine tip. This printable mandala suits an experienced colourist who enjoys repetitive detail, and reaching the outer edge takes roughly two to three unhurried hours.

Start with the central star in pencil to lock in tone before moving to the spirals, which move faster with a fine liner or a 0.3 marker. Save the tiny sun faces in the last crown for a sharpened point, since they hold the smallest shapes on the page. Print this mandala coloring page on A4 paper of at least 160gsm so markers won't bleed through.
