Sun Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this sun mandala, a small spiral rosette wrapped in curling scrolls leads into a ring of beads, then a band of pointed petals closing into diamond shapes. A second beaded ring introduces the widest part of the design: tall, sharp, asymmetrical flame-like points radiate outward like sun rays, with tiny teardrop scrolls tucked at their base. A wide outer border carries a repeating frieze of small six-petaled flowers, closed off by a clean double circle.

The linework is fine and dense at the center and along the outer frieze, while the large flame-shaped points offer much wider, more relaxing areas to color. This printable mandala coloring page suits an experienced colorist drawn to the center's detail as much as a beginner who sticks to the main rays; expect one to two hours to finish it.

Save the fine tip for the beads and border flowers, and broader markers for the large central points; start with the central rosette to keep a steady hand before the frieze, the most delicate part. For a printable mandala that keeps these details crisp, print at A4 on paper of at least 160 gsm.
